It may not be business as usual but we are still open!

Tigga Towers – It may not be business as usual, but we are still open and here to help support your pets needs.

First and most important, I hope that you, your families and pets are well in these uncertain and unprecedented times.

I wanted to give you an update on what we are doing at Tigga Towers. Whilst we have been keeping busy on social media with #FridayFun #Caturday chat and #SantosChallange I also wanted to let you know about the team

Tigga Towers is open for business online and via our phone lines. We are dispatching orders 1-2 times per week to adhere to the government guidelines and limited all social contact. We plan to keep our online shop open if it is safe for us to do so, and the Government allows this.

In order to facilitate these guidelines all TT staff are under my orders now remain at home. Most have families and children to look after. They are still very much part of the team and I look forwards to welcoming them back when we get to the other side.

I continue to work from my office at home and visit our warehouse 1-2 times per week to pack and dispatch orders. It is off limits to anybody else. The Government has specifically advised businesses that we should continue to follow risk assessments with safe systems in place for working. Currently no additional precautions are required handling post / packing

I am of course following the Government guidance on heightened hygiene precautions with regular 20 second hand washing, and disinfecting surfaces and objects that are used/touched frequently within my home as we have the added pressure of my mother ( a vulnerable adult) who also needs my support.

On a personal level, Myself, Pete and my mother are following all Government advice and restrictions regarding staying at home.  Basically, we are doing everything we can to minimise risk.

Our couriers are DPD local who collect from our safe area with no contact between ourselves or the drivers. With the automated systems in place we have no need to see or speak to DPD local as everything is completed online including the tracking service.

Currently 24 – 48 hr delivery is achieved 95% of the time. We expect most parcels to arrive within this time frame, but it is possible for more parcels than usual to experience some short delays.

Remember all customers have the ability to request a parcel to be left safe and all couriers are signing for parcels on behalf of the recipient on delivery to remove the need for our customers to provide a signature

Your patience is very much appreciated under these exceptionally challenging circumstances.

The Next step

Our Spring Order is in production and was due in March. Obviously, this has been delayed with our factory and teams limiting production lines to practice safe working conditions.

Most of our Cat Scratching Towers, Beds and Toys are in stock and we are regularly updating social media and our website with news. Quite a few of our teams and other suppliers had closed temporarily as their facilities were not suited to social distancing in the workplace which is absolutely the right thing to do. A number have re-opened, but it has potential to cause stock issues, depending on how long this continues.

In the meantime, I am delighted to announce I will be welcoming the Spring range in May with a very special event planned. So, make sure you are registered to receive news in the next mailshot.

I will continue to do everything that I can to ensure that I can provide a service to our customers and ask for your patience during this time if we experience some additional delays.
