Two weeks ago, we were loading the van ready for our annual trip to the National Pet Show at ExCel. This would be our 6th year at the show and a whole year since we were represented by the now ‘infamous’ Team Connexus from the BBC’s Apprentice show!

We arrived bright and early in London and started the build of our stand. Looking at all the boxes it is difficult to know where to start – but it always gets done and looked pretty fantastic when we finished (even if we do say so ourselves!). Then it was back home to get Santos bathed and ready for his special appearance at the show the next day!

After a 5.30 am alarm call (yuk!), it was time to get up and on the road. When we arrived at ExCel there was a bit of last minute product stocking and time for a couple of photographs and then it was show time!

We had everything in our collection on the stand, including towers, bedding, blankets, pillows and toys and we were launching our brand new Oak double tower, which will be available from September. As you can see - Santos loved it and it had a fantastic reception from everyone that came onto the stand!

Tigga Towers at the National Pet Show

We were extremely busy over the two days and met so many new and existing Tigga Tower’s customers (it is always so lovely to meet our customers in person) but some of our top highlights included a visit from The Disney Channel who filmed their ‘toy’ dog Wooster asleep in one of our towers and the fantastic Peterbald cats playing and sleeping in our towers – they really created a stir amongst the visitors.

As ever, the star of the show was our very own Santos who attracted a lot of attention: having his picture taken, being stroked and yet still managed to fall asleep during all the fuss!

It’s been lovely to receive so many pictures, texts and emails of happy cats and dogs asleep in their new beds or playing with their Tigga Towers’ toys – it makes the stand breakdown, unloading the van (not to mention the blisters!) all worthwhile!!! Thank you to everyone that came to see us, it was lovely to meet you all.
