So in case you missed all the action over bonfire weekend! Tigga Towers headed off to the NEC for the second time in as many weeks!
It was time for some monkey madness at the National Pet Show 2016. The team always enjoy these shows as they bring together so many different animals and pet lovers with so many concepts and ideas. From pet care to Q & A sessions in the various zones and the infamous Noel Fitspatrick and his never ending energy and passion, complete a packed show.
The National Pet Show is one of the biggest shows that Tigga Towers attends and whilst it's hard work the team love the chance to see old friends and of course meet many new friends.
Social media also plays an important part of these shows and our live models from the cat section completes a great two day event. Walking by the stand you never quite know what you might find with us. And for those who follow us on social media will have seen our first-ever live feeds on Facebook and Instagram stories. Did you spot us?
We had over 10 different breeds appearing including Siamese and Scottish Folds, on the stand. Some even crashed out for a cat nap whilst their public admired from afar with passers by comment 'is it real' or 'I can't believe how chilled out that cat is' but of course we say what cat would not chill out and catch a quick 40 winks on our towers or cat beds. We also had on display our brand new burgundy range (which is flying off the shelves!), our new rectangular Tiny Tigga as well as our new sturdy scratching pole – all of which were attracting a lot of attention from show goers.
At one point the cat nip monkeys escaped proving much hilarious laughter and of course the odd photo or two!
We were delighted to see and chat with many of our friends and had visits from several whose first show it was. Katzenworld are even planning their bespoke cat tower for 2017 too. Bengal Cat World of course said hello and My 4 Cats Designs as well.
The event was attended by over 20,000 visitors. No wonder we felt exhausted on Monday - actually the words feeling like we had been dragged through a hedge backwards sprung to mind!
Anyway there is plenty going on at TT HQ so keep your eyes peeled and make sure you check on your cats Christmas list too!
For us we will be putting our feet up and relaxing somewhere on a beach - only joking but we can dream. Actually the team is busy working hard to make sure all dispatches and orders leave us on time and of course we have the final three shows of 2016 to look forward to in December. Keep an eye open for any Christmas news and don't leave it too late to order any Christmas goodies. In fact a little birdie told us we have made the Under The Christmas Tree list for the second year running.
See you soon!
